Web design comes naturally to me. I think of myself as "having an eye for the web". I am a perfectionist who pays attention to the finest details; right down to the very last pixel. Here are some of the websites I have designed and created from scratch. More sites will be added shortly.
v1.0 was born in 1998 as a result of my initiative. The Varsity Blues Tennis team really deserved a better site than the one offered by the university. As manager (now assistant coach), I decided to go ahead create a stronger web presence to showcase our top athletes. The site is also used as a tool for the coach to communicate with potential new players and current players. Future plans for the site include additional Flash content.
This is another brainchild of mine. Formerly known the Huron Heights Em@il Directory, HuronConnect now provides a central place for alumni of Huron to stay in touch. Future plans for this site include a complete redesign, as well as a PHP/MySQL implementation of the alumni email directory, and an online forum for discussion. In 2002, the site provided valuable information for the alumni attending the 40th school reunion.
I designed the site from scratch as the Engineering Athletic Association at the University of Toronto really needed a site to promote and provide information about intramural sports to the student community. I no longer maintain the site, and the new owners of the site have made some significant design changes to the site that would not get my approval.
